Roundtable Meeting with Italian Entrepreneurs

On July 9th, 2025 the Hongqiao International CBD Administrative Commission organized a Roundtable with the participation of the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce (CICC) that provided a platform for fostering dialogue and cooperation between local authorities and the Italian business community.

CICC Chairman Lorenzo Riccardi, Board Members Emilio Cassanelli and Stefano Catozzi, General Manager Antonella Fontanarosa, and Public Affairs Manager Wei Chen, together with representatives of Italian companies, attended the Roundtable.

Kong Frank, Secretary of the Leadership Group and Executive Deputy Director-General, Zhang Bin, Member of the Party Leadership Group and Deputy Director, along with representatives from the Shanghai Minhang, Qingpu, Changning, and Jiading District Governments, were also in attendance.

The event featured the participation of Professor Paolo Sabbatini, highlighting the importance of strengthening both cultural and economic relations.

During the meeting, Lorenzo Riccardi, Chairman of the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce, reiterated CICC’s continued commitment to promoting economic exchanges between Italy and China and to advancing new opportunities for cooperation. 2025 marks an important milestone: 55 years of bilateral relations between Italy and China, and 50 years of EU-China relations.
