2025 Career Day in Suzhou, 15.10

On October 15, the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce (CICC) successfully organized the 2025 Career Day in collaboration with the International Business School Suzhou (IBSS) at Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University (XJTLU).

This year, CICC partnered with 10 Italian companies to offer a total of 25 job opportunities across 32 positions. The afternoon kicked off with a vibrant Job Fair, giving students a unique platform to explore potential career paths, meet company representatives, ask questions, and gain firsthand insights into the dynamic world of international business in both Chinese and Italian enterprises.

Following this, the YP Talk offered a deeper perspective on professional growth, with Mr. Lorenzo Bali, Board Director of CICC, delivering a warm welcome speech.  

During the event, students had the opportunity to hear directly from Italian companies such as Danieli China and Atelier Meadow, gaining insights into their professional experiences and industry perspectives. The program also included a special session on navigating careers across Chinese and Western corporates, presented by Ms. Denise Sordilli, Marketing Coordinator Supervisor at Gi Group Holding. Through these interactions, students not only received practical career advice but also developed a deeper understanding of the international business environment and the skills needed to succeed in cross-cultural workplaces.

The event fostered meaningful interactions between students and Italian companies, providing a valuable platform for participants to build professional connections, gain a clear understanding of industry expectations, and explore potential career paths firsthand. Beyond networking, students were able to experience the dynamics of international business environments, ask questions, and receive practical advice directly from industry professionals, making the day both informative and inspiring.
