Dear Members and Friends, The China-Italy Chamber of Commerce (CICC) would like to summon a Mechanical Engineering Working Group (MEWG) meeting on July 15th, 2022 at 3 pm (Beijing Time), both online and offline at the CICC premise in Shanghai (上海市, 静安区, 威海路777, 2楼, 202 室N. 777 Weihai road, 2nd Floor, R202, Jing'An District Shanghai).   SUBJECT OF THE MEETING Elections for the new MEWG Coordinator and Vice Coordinators and updates about WG’s activities.   CANDIDATES We are pleased to announce candidates for the role of Coordinator and Vice Coordinators for the Mechanical Engineering Working Group (MEWG):   Coordinator Carlo Nizia (BIO) Risk Management of UFI FILTERS Shanghai   Vice Coordinators Emilio Cassanelli (BIO) China VP of Industry Technology Suzhou Co., Ltd. Alberto Fochesato (BIO) APA Industry - Sales Director of Würth Industry Service (China) Co., Ltd. Mirko Turrina (BIO) General Manager of Goglio (Tianjin) Packaging Co., Ltd.   VOTING PROCESS Each participant can vote for max n.1 candidate for Coordinator and max n.1 Vice Coordinator by sending an email to elezioni2022@cameraitacina.com within 24 hours before the elections. The vote is secret (proxies are not accepted). All members of the WG who completed the membership process more than 10 days before the date of the elections will be entitled to vote.   ATTEND THE ELECTION If you want to attend the elections, you can register here.   Please specify if you will join the meeting online or offline in Shanghai. Please be aware that the Working Groups meetings are only open to CICC Members.     CICC WORKING GROUPS The Working Groups bring together representatives of companies operating in the same sector or located in the same geographical area. The aim is to share information, resources and ideas, organize relevant activities for the companies, and build sectorial expertise within the CICC in order to attract interest both in China and in Italy to benefit companies not present on Chinese territory yet.

The Mechanical Engineering Working Group (MEWG) of the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce (CICC) is pleased to invite you to the webinar “How to Choose the Right Partner in China. Focus on the Manufacturing Industry”, on April 7th 2022, at 2 pm - 3:30 pm. The webinar aims to prepare foreign companies operating in the manufacturing sector looking for Chinese business partners. During this session, the CICC Mechanical Engineering Working Group will discuss with our experts which are the most important aspects to be considered while selecting a business partner in China, including the necessary background checks, different (legal) forms of cooperation, financial transaction, Merger, Acquisition and Taxation - Financial Due Diligence and Company Evaluation on Target Partner.   Background The main goal of the webinar is to provide adequate tools to companies participating in the B2B activities scheduled in April (date tbc), in Shanghai, during the CREATIVE WORLD LEADS THE FUTURE – China-Europe SME Innovation Cooperation and Development Forum.
