The event was organized by the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce and the session was moderated by CICC Board Member Lorenzo Bali, while CICC Chairman Lorenzo Riccardi, in his welcome speech, highlighted “the dynamism of Italian companies in Suzhou, an essential driver of local development.”
The keynote speakers, Professor Giovanni Tria, former Italian Minister of Economy and Finance, and Mr. Davide Follador, First Secretary of the EU Delegation to China, discussed the economic dynamics between Italy, the EU, and China.
The event also featured contributions from representatives of Italian companies active in Suzhou, who personally introduced their businesses and shared their commitment and outlook on the Chinese market. Particularly noteworthy was the speech by Elisa Faccani, a student at Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University, who “brought the voice of the younger generations and symbolized cultural cooperation.”
CICC wishes to express its sincere thanks to all members and partners for their continued support and trust. With renewed dedication, the Chamber reaffirms its role as a key player in fostering economic, commercial, and cultural relations between Italy and China, actively promoting the growth of Italian enterprises in the Suzhou region and supporting increasingly close and long-lasting collaborations between the two countries.
