On November 25th in Beijing, on the occasion of the Italian Ministry of Health's official mission to China, Mr. Lorenzo Riccardi, Chairman of the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce (CICC), met with Italian Health Minister Orazio Schillaci. The meeting took place during a reception hosted by Ambassador Massimo Ambrosetti and included a delegation of institutions and Italian companies operating in the healthcare sector, underscoring the strategic importance of bilateral cooperation in this industry.
During the discussion, the delegation highlighted the expanding role of Italian enterprises in China's healthcare market, particularly in pharmaceuticals and medical technology.
The meeting reinforced the shared commitment to deepening Italy-China collaboration in healthcare, aligning with the broader governmental dialogue held earlier the same day between Minister Schillaci and Chinese health authorities.
