Research on M&A operations suggests that more than 50% of M&A operations do not create value. Some failures are due to post-M&A problems but many do arise due to valuation issues: the price was “not right”. The aim of this presentation is to look at the practice of Private Equity funds and financial investors and the factors that influence valuations: how to make the price “right”.
During the ceremony, three restaurants in Guangzhou - Limoni, Prego and Oggi – were awarded with Ospitalita’ Italiana worldwide certification at the presence of the Italian authorities and have been interviewed by local Media. CICC Vice President, Mr. Marco Bettin and the Consul General of Italy, Mr. Paolo Miraglia del Giudice, gave a speech to the audience, stressing the importance of this initiative to promote the quality of Italian products and cuisine in China.
This conference, organized by the Department of Science and Technology of People’s Government of Guangdong Province, has the intent to present the ex alumni of China Italy School of Policy the Guangdong Model of Specialized Towns, selecting some foreign experiences.
The China and Italy School of Policy, designed in close partnership with Italian and Chinese institutions, offers advanced learning programmes on international industry, company strategies and government policies.
Ospitalita’ Italiana is a “quality certification” to certify that the awarded Italian restaurants meet the high quality standards required to make Italian authentic cuisine, as they use original imported Italian products (olive oil, parmigiano, D.o.C. wines etc) and have an experienced Italian chef.
Organized in partnership with Fondazione Italia Cina, the event will award 5 prizes, in 4 different categories:
Panda d’Oro Category (2 prizes):
1. Panda d’Oro Cina Award Italian Company which has achieved the most effective approach in the Chinese market in 2010 and plans further investments in 2011
2. Panda d’Oro Italia Award Chinese Company which has achieved the most effective approach in the Italian market in 2010 and plans further investments in 2011
