CICC met with the Chinese Competition Authority in Shanghai

On November 26th, the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce (CICC) had the pleasure of meeting with the representative of Shanghai Municipal Administration for Market Regulation Antitrust Section (SAMR). 

The CICC delegation was led by Chairman Lorenzo Riccardi, together with CICC Public Affairs Manager Wei Chen. 

The meeting was following the mission of Roberto Rustichelli, President of the Italian Competition Authority in Beijing last September. The meeting served as a valuable opportunity to exchange views on the opportunities and challenges faced by Italian companies in China, with a focus on key topics such as antitrust, consumer protection, competition, and market access.

The discussion highlighted the importance of fostering a transparent and fair business environment for Italian enterprises operating in China and underlined the role of institutions in supporting companies in navigating complex regulatory frameworks.
